I can't believe I'm just coming across , but it describes this t-shirt's East Coast-ism right well:
Maritimers decided a while back that adjectives like “some” and “right” weren’t going to be adjectives anymore. Instead they became adverbs and are now used frequently as intensifiers, like “She was some drunk last night,” or “It’s right cold outside”.
So now you know. Also, if you didn't know what our name was about... strong clue in there. And the final fun fact: It wasn't until I moved away that I realized I sound like a pirate. I still can't hear it. I mean, I get it, but I really think we say 'car' and 'bar' just as they're meant to be said.
This shirt was a customer suggestion! Is there something about the East Coast you want to see on a shirt? Let us know!
